Mount Pleasant, SC – Local startup Querri has been selected as a finalist in the Emerging Tech category at the Sloss.Tech Pitch competition, taking place June 25 in Birmingham, Alabama. The event, organized by TechBirmingham, is part of the broader Sloss.Tech conference—one of the Southeast’s premier gatherings for tech, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Querri is a no-code, AI-powered data platform that enables business teams to get fast, accurate insights from messy data—just by asking questions in plain English. The company, founded in 2023 by Charleston-area entrepreneur Dave Ingram, is headquartered in Mount Pleasant and represents the Charleston region as one of just 16 startups selected from across the Southeast.

Finalists at Sloss.Tech Pitch will compete for $75,000 in total prizes, including a $50,000 grand prize, a $10,000 People’s Choice Award, and three $5,000 category prizes. All finalists receive mentoring, showcase access, and startup perks during the conference.

“We’re proud to see a Mount Pleasant company competing on a regional stage and showing what’s possible when AI and usability come together,” said Matt Brady, Economic Development Officer for the Town of Mount Pleasant. “Querri is a great example of the talent and innovation growing right here in our backyard.”

Querri has already begun drawing attention for its ability to simplify complex data workflows, helping non-technical users quickly generate visual reports, clean datasets, and automate analysis—without needing a data team.
