Owner Dr. Ellen Paulisick, joined by Councilman Howard Chapman, P.E., and Councilman Jake Rambo, partnered with Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Director Rebecca Imholz and Chamber Board Members, celebrated the grand opening of Longboard Dental with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The business is located at 405 Faison Road Suite 103.

Longboard Dental was founded on the premise that the entire family’s oral health needs would be met in one location. Dr. Paulisick offers an array of services from routine dentistry to surgical implant placement, Invisalign clear aligner therapy, and Botox/Juvederm treatments.

She is a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School and was the chief resident of her General Practice Residency at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Hospital. She is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor bestowed on less than 6% of general dentists nationally. Dr. Paulisick has served in national leadership roles, such as the American Association of Women Dentists. She is also the current lead dentist and MUSC Adjunct faculty at the ECCO Dental Clinic, a non-profit dedicated to providing free dental services for those in need in the tri-county. Dr. Paulisick was recently selected nationally as Benco Dental’s 40 Under 40, a recognition for the top dentists in America.

Most importantly, she is the proud mother of two beautiful children and is happy to use her influence to improve Charleston’s health and well-being.
